Interest rates are a notable part of the equation when buying farmland.  The Federal Reserve’s expansionary policy has created attractive interest rates for farmers and investors to finance their land purchases.  The current interest environment may be short-lived though as inflationary concerns may drive interest rates up soon.  Guests include Dennis Gartman, economist who has been involved in the capital markets since 1974 and Lynn Paulson, Bell Bank Vice President for Agricultural Lending, who has been in the lending business for nearly 40 years.

Before joining the Pifer’s team, Steve was the Boys Basketball coach at Bismarck High School in Bismarck, ND. He taught physical education at BHS for 31 years. Steve Miller won more basketball State Championships than any coach in North Dakota history.  He is a proven winner.  Steve is the ultimate team player as an Auction Associate at Pifer’s.  His life lessons growing up on a farm in Morton County, North Dakota and as a coach serve him well as a Pifer’s team member
