Ben Tilberg
Growing up in rural Wisconsin instilled in me a deep love for the land and a passion for agriculture that continues to guide me today. From a young age, my summers were spent traveling to junior rodeo circuits, competing across Wisconsin, and learning the value of hard work and community. My family’s involvement in agriculture and the outdoors shaped my connection to the land, and those experiences laid the foundation for my career.
After high school, I served in the Army as a combat engineer, where I learned discipline, resilience, and the importance of teamwork. Following my military service, I pursued a degree in Agri-Business while working full-time as an operations manager on a cranberry farm. I later worked as an agricultural scientist, conducting internal research for Ocean Spray Cranberries Cooperative, focusing on innovative practices across Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. My position as a Precision Agronomist allowed me to implement advanced agricultural technologies, helping growers maximize efficiency and sustainability.
As an official measurer for the Boone and Crockett Club, Pope and Young Club, and Buck and Bear Club of Wisconsin, I’ve remained closely connected to the outdoor world. I understand that agriculture and land stewardship go hand in hand. Whether I’m evaluating farmland for its productive potential or managing wildlife programs, my approach is rooted in a genuine respect for the land and a commitment to preserving its value for generations to come.
I recognize the complexity of farming today, as we navigate technological advancements, shifting markets, and sustainability challenges. The farming community has long embraced sustainable practices, understanding that our land is our most valuable resource and the key to our future. It’s an honor to be part of this community and to work with farmers, landowners, and outdoors enthusiasts who share a dedication to responsible land management.
I’m committed to working hard for every client, because I know how important legacy and tradition are. Our future is tied to our land, and it’s our duty to protect and enhance its purpose. I look forward to building lasting relationships and contributing to the success of those I serve.
