I had the pleasure of visiting the property in March of 2013.  As I drove from the west I could see in the horizon the tree covered hills (which is a rarity in the Dakotas) and I knew I would be seeing a property that is truly an unique offering.  Where the gravel road comes to a "T" I knew I was at the property by the recognizable quality fences and gates that boarder the property.  After traveling north I turned the corner to enter the private driveway which is anchored by the Antelope Hills entrance gate that gives the property a nice pride of ownership presence and the declaration that you are entering private property.  When I visit a property I always have a camera handy and it took me an extra 20 minutes on the driveway alone because every few 100 yards I had wildlife (deer, turkeys, ducks, and geese) posing for a picture.  Then I got to the last hill that overlooks the farm site and the lake and I stopped the truck and took in the grand view of Antelope Lake.  I followed the driveway down the hill and towards the lake and through the farmstead to the house.  The farmstead features the main house, guest cabin, trailer house, and working buildings all overlooking Antelope Lake.  Antelope Lake is 1787 acres and is well known as a quality fishing lake.  The property also features over 2.5 miles of lake shore with a gradual slope to the water with endless possibilities.  The property layout with the shoreline boarders on the north and east sides, the crop land locations near the access roads on the south and west sides and the pasture land contiguous with the headquarters makes this a great layout for farming, ranching, and quality deer management.  In-fact the state record Brunner Buck whitetail deer was harvest on this property.  The only disappointment I had was I didn't have time to explore the property more to enjoy the views, search for early settler & Indian artifacts, find deer sheds, and find all the hidden wildlife sanctuaries.  I highly recommend to anyone to get your finances inline and call Corey Longnecker for a private tour and expect to be captivated by this properties true beauty, fantastic views, quality layout, and tremendous upside.  Buy a North Dakota Gem!
