This property features 588 +/- crop acres that has been used recently for hay and is ready to be put back into cropland production. The property features productive soils and has a cropping history of wheat, barley, and various other crops. Auction will be written bids only, for a 5-year contract starting the 2024 crop season. Land can be hayed or put into production in 2024, but must be put back into crop production for the 2025 growing season and beyond. Bids must be placed per/acre, per year. The highest average written bid for the 5-year duration will be awarded a contract upon landowners’ approval. The successful bidder will have possession at the signing of the contract. Written bids will be submitted on an annual per acre basis. All written bids must be accompanied with a letter of good standing from your financial institution. All written bids must be accompanied with a 5-year farming plan, including but not limited to, crop rotation, normal chemical application, field drainage plans and or suggested tiling plan. These stewardship/farming plans are important to the landowner(s) and will play an important role in the final decision when awarding the contracts. The winning bidder will (upon Landowner acceptance) receive a lease agreement provided by Pifer’s Land Management. Bidders are bidding on a 5-year lease agreement. The agreement will begin at the signing of the contract and terminate December 31, 2028. Annual rent will be due on or before April 15 each year of the lease agreement. The awarded bidder must provide Farm Liability insurance policy that meets lease agreement standards. The Landowner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
