Kevin Pifer has extensive experience in agriculture, finance, and marketing. Kevin is a former North Dakota Deputy Commissioner of Agriculture. He has worked extensively in the finance industry, serving as President and CEO of an insurance company and bank in the Fargo and Bismarck markets. Kevin received his auction training in 1985 from the River Basin Auction School in Bismarck, ND.

Steve Link represents Pifer’s Auction & Realty as a realtor, specializing in Farm, Ranch, and Hunting Land. Steve has an educational and professional background in land management and farm and ranch operations. Prior to joining Pifer’s he had been involved in land management and as a wildlife consultant. He grew up on a grain farm near the small town of Milan, MN. Steve graduated with a degree in Natural Resource Management from North Dakota State University. He is respected as a resourceful and proven advisor and consultant in the selling and management of real estate.

Terry Skjerseth has an extensive background in agriculture, finance and insurance. Terry has spent the past 22 years in the finance, farm management and the property/crop insurance business. Bob Pifer

Robert Pifer is a certified Auctioneer, Designated Broker, and Realtor in North Dakota, Minnesota, Arizona, and California. Reared in the north eastern part of North Dakota near Larimore, Bob spent his youth working on the family farm. Bob is experienced in engineering research and development for major corporations. This compliments his MBA studies and Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Phoenix. Bob attended Continental Auctioneers School in Mankato, Minnesota and also has an Associate in Applied Science degree from North Dakota State College of Science.

Larry O Callaghan

Larry O Callaghan is a resident of Fargo, ND. Reared in the south central part of North Dakota near Hazelton, Larry spent his youth working on the family farm. Larry has been a licensed life and health agent since 1974, and a Registered Representative since 1983. Larry was awarded the Certified Senior Advisor, (CSA) ® certification in 2001. His work experience includes raising millions of new investment capital for Real Estate Investment Trusts since 1994. Larry served as INREIT Real Estate Investment Trust’s first Chairman of the Board and currently serves as a Board of Trustee member. Pifer’s Auction & Realty appointed Larry as a realtor in April of 2006. He will be available to discuss the benefits of using IRC Sec: 1031 and 721 tax-deferred exchanges for clients. He also has an extensive background in many other investment related areas.

Jim Lakoduk

Jim Lakoduk has successful experience in many business areas. Born into a farm family in central North Dakota he now owns and manages the family farm in addition to farm land in Minnesota. Much of his career was as the owner and operator of radio stations in Fargo and Bismarck, North Dakota and Duluth and Brainerd, Minnesota. During that time he began investing in multi-family property in the Fargo area and subsequently managed those properties. Jim looks forward to utilizing his marketing, sales and business experience along with his knowledge of farming and ranching, commercial and multi-family property while serving the Pifer’s Auction and Realty customers.

Corey Longnecker distinguishes himself with his wealth of knowledge in farm, ranch and hunting properties. Corey has an extensive background in rural properties as a farmer near New Rockford, ND and as a Certified Outfitter in North Dakota. Corey is a partner in Lake Washington Hunting Lodge, and received a degree in Farm and Ranch Management from NSCS in Wahpeton, ND.

Jim Aaker is a lifelong resident of Lakota, ND. He attended North Dakota State University and owned and operated Aaker Funeral Home in Lakota for 25 years. He holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Mary. He currently owns Nelson County Abstract Inc at Lakota and has extensive knowledge in the land and title industries.

Val Seibel is a realtor and auction associate for Pifer’s Auction & Realty where she maintains an office in Harvey, ND, home of a hunter’s dream, near the Lonetree Wildlife Management Area. Her diversified specialty consists of farmsteads, hunting land, farmland, and residential properties. Prior to becoming a realtor, Val was a legal secretary for a little more than 25 years. She loves meeting new people and is a woman of integrity, hospitality and approachability. She grew up in northeastern ND with a good work ethic, and has fond memories of traveling the Midwest with the family operated custom combining business. One of her best decisions, she says, is buying a secondary home in the Detroit Lakes area, and she looks forward to venturing into lake property sales, as well. Alan Butts is Pifers Broker Associate and Auction Coordinator for Central ND in their Bismarck office. Alan has an extensive background in farming, finance, cattle and irrigation having owned and operated a 5,000 acre irrigated farm and a 10,000 head feedlot near Carrington, ND. Butts has a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from North Dakota State University. Alan is member of the Bismarck Far West Rotary, Bismarck-Mandan Elks, and a director of the North Dakota Irrigation Coalition.

Andy Mrnak is an auctioneer from Bowman, ND, with a distinct background in the purebred livestock industry. Andy was elected to the National Junior Hereford Association in 2003 and served as an officer for 3 years. He grew up on a registered Hereford operation near Bowman, where he still resides after graduating from Oklahoma State University in 2006. At OSU Andy was President of the OSU Meat Science Association, and a member of the Meats and Livestock Judging Teams. In 2007, Andy graduated from the Texas Auction Academy in Dallas, TX, and became a member of the North Dakota and National Auctioneers Associations.

Tom Brusegaard is a Pifer\'s Auction & Realty auction associate serving north eastern North Dakota and north western Minnesota. Tom attended NDSU to study agricultural economics. He farmed in Gilby, ND for 15 years and has broad experience in production agriculture. He has worked as a financial advisor helping clients plan for their future, their retirement, and their families. Tom also served for 10 years as a member of the ND State House of Representatives. Tom is headquartered in Pifer’s Grand Forks’ Office.

Kenton Carlson is a Realtor in Pifers Bismarck Office and also serves as a Sales Manager of Pifers Livestock Marketing Division. Raised on a livestock and grain farm near Mandan, Kenton received a BS in Animal Science from North Dakota State University and is graduating with a MBA from The University of Mary in spring of 2010. His extensive agricultural business experience includes cattle genetics, farm management, finance, as well as animal health and equipment sales management.

Peter A. Pifer has an extensive background in accounting, finance, and mortgage banking. He has led the marketing and sales campaigns for national mortgage banking firms and has been an active principal in start-up companies and acquisitions. Most recently, \"Pete\" served as EVP of sales for a leading national mortgage banking company. Pete serves as CFO and director of the Pifer Group LLC, the parent company of Pifer\'s Auction Company.

Danielle Henderson

Danielle Henderson is Pifer’s senior accountant and manages the individual accounts and records for each client in Pifer’s Land Management Program. Danielle graduated from North Central College in Naperville, IL with a degree in accounting, and has since developed her skills in several aspects of the agricultural business. Danielle previously worked as an auditor and Livestock Accounting Manager at Hormel Foods in Austin, MN for two years before moving back to her roots in Fargo, ND to work with RD Offutt Company as a general accountant for their Farm Division. In 2001 she became the Controller for Oberg Farms, (family owned farming operation of 18,000+/- cropland acres). Her expertise in accounting and background of agricultural business makes her a valued member of the Pifer’s team!
